Free Halo 3 Map Arrives July 7

Bungie annouced a new multiplayer map for Halo 3 will be released as a free download on July 7. It's a remake of the original Halo's Chill Out map, now called Cold Storage. Snag it while the getting is good!

Rock Band 2 This September!!

Just when I thought this Monday was really gonna suck, I find some exciting news. Reports are flying around the net about Rock Band 2 and it's coming to Xbox 360 this September, with "other platforms" releasing later in the year. It's also great to hear that they will be supporting the older instruments and all of your DLC will be available in Rock Band 2. Seems they just couldn't let Guitar Hero: World Tour out do them. Either way I can't wait for both.

Tribes is back? Sorta.....

Sign up for the Legions beta for up to 16 players of action. There is a catch however....this game is played in your web browser. Could this be the beginning of the end of installing PC games? Good way to fight piracy....but is the game any good?

If it looks like shit....and stinks like shit....its probably Tribes!

Patch Mania Continues! GTA4 Update

Patches are coming out almost daily now for just about all the latest games on every platform. Both the PS3 and XBOX360 versions of GTA get fixes for crashes, hangs, and multiplayer issues. Nothing too major though surprisingly, pretty much what would be expected from a PC gamer stand point. All your bug are belong to us!

Just start playin' and you should be prompt for the update folks.

Frontlines Update Enables 50-Player Online Gameplay

WoW Patch 2.4.3

The World of Warcraft 2.4.3 PTR patch notes have been put out on the internet. There are a few interesting changes that are coming out.

-Mounts at Level 30

-Curse of Shadow and Curse of Elements have been combined. There will no longer be a Curse of Shadow spell for Warlocks.

-Dispel effects will no longer attempt to remove effects that have 100% dispel resistance.

Pyro Really Cookin Tomorrow

This logo is one of the 35 new achievements for the Pyro. The achievements along with 2 new maps and 3 weapons for the Pyro will be available tomorrow. Converting Characters to 4th Edition

Now with the 4th Edition out you may be eager to play, but do you want to leave your current campaign? If you want to try and make the switch Wizards of the Coast wants to try and help. Guitar Hero IV Details Emerge

This goes out to all you Guitar Hero haters out there.....

Multiple sites are reporting Guitar Hero IV will come with a touch sensitive guitar neck that utilizes the entire fret board:
"New touch-sensitive guitar Neck Slide opens up the entire guitar neck for unbound solos - shred how you want,"

Also listed were some of the bands to be featured in the game:
"tracks from Jimi Hendrix, The Doors, Foo Fighters, Smashing Pumpkins, Korn, System of a Down, Ozzy Osbourne, Interpol, Muse "and dozens more"

At a price point of $179.99 that includes quieter more realistic drums, touch sensitive guitar, wireless mic and a great track list seems like a deal. Competition is good.. Wonder what Rock Band 2 could have up their sleeves?
